Supporting Families During Treatment

First Strand

Support Manx residents who require treatment in hospital in the United Kingdom, and their family members. We do this by helping with the costs of transport and accommodation for family members to visit them during their stay in hospital, providing vouchers for food and essentials, and helping with the costs of participating in leisure activities whilst in the United Kingdom. We provide this assistance where these costs are not funded by any other body or organisation. We also support the women's and children's department, including funding equipment for the neonatal unit, to improve care and outcomes for infants and children in need.

Supporting Bereaved Families

Second Strand

Support bereaved families by the raising of awareness of the effects of the loss of a child or a pregnancy, in particular on the part of the child's siblings, and by providing emotional and practical support to the whole family. We also have our book, written by Arlo's mum Sarah, available to support bereaved siblings.
